The mission of UseMyEars.com is to provide a platform to deliver auditory verbal education and information via the Internet. UseMyEars.com is a website designed to help students learn to listen using hearing aids or cochlear implants. It is important to teach young aided or implanted children to develop active hearing so that listening becomes automatic. Hearing and active listening become an integral part of communication, recreation, socialization, education and work.

This site can be used as an informal learning site where all users have comparable permissions, or as a more hierarchical learning environment with students, teachers, classes, and working groups. The goal of this site is to create a flexible framework that allows for users to set up a social learning environment.  This site is not intended to replace the threapist/student relationship; it is designed to enhance it.
